Kidtown

At Midtown 12 South, we do more than just take care of our children.

We see our ministry to families as one of the primary ways to be agents of gospel renewal for the glory of God and the good of Nashville. On Sundays, we work to create a safe, consistent, gospel-centric environment for children that we call Kidtown. Kidtown is available during the 9am, 10am, and 11am services at 12 South. Come and see how we’re planting seeds of truth in the hearts of the next generation.

In each of our classrooms, children are encouraged to participate in age-appropriate worship, immersive lessons, and cross-generational discipleship as they learn to believe, become, and belong in the church.

Age Groups

Care and teaching for every stage of childhood.

Babies
The nursery is designed for children from birth through 16 months. Children will experience God’s love as they engage in a nurturing and caring environment.
Toddlers
Toddlers will explore and learn how God’s love is experienced in relationship with his word and with one another.
Pre-K
Pre-K children will learn about God’s redemptive story as they engage in worship with one another, hear Bible stories, and participate in fun hands-on experiences.
Elementary
Our elementary students will dive deeper into God’s word, discuss how to apply it, and explore how it affects the way they live out their faith in relationships.
6th-12th grade
6th graders and above are part of our Youth ministry at Midtown, and they meet with other students on Sunday afternoons. Visit our Youth page to learn more.

For our 10am service at Waverly-Belmont Elementary School, parents escort each child to their classrooms, dropping off their child with the printed name tag and keeping the parent badge for pick up.
